SOCIAL ISSUES.

You can gain great economic gains by solving social problems.

— Paul Tudor Jones.

Do you feel that there are many social issues in the world? if yes, this is just the right place to know more about them and if no, then you can get to know that yes there are.

Do you remember eating something and suddenly a kid appears from nowhere and starts to ask for money or any item that he/she would use? i have witnessed it many times. and yes it is a social issue. In my blogs i would like to aware all of you reading them about the social issues that our world at large faces.

This blogs aims to aware you all so that anyone who knowingly or unknowingly contributes to any social issue will start realizing about the consequence and will not contribute any further.

I decided to write blogs on this issue because i saw on a very famous game show, certain people were called who were activists and helped the poor and needy cancer patients which involved small children as well. I couldn’t believe how powerless were their parents who couldn’t even afford a days meal, had to afford the fees of hospitals! this made me realize that these social issues need to be addressed and we as the people of India must work upon them to curb them.

Man looking at his empty wallet.

Do you like the way i think? if yes, please subscribe.

Smoking Delhi!!

Delhi, Nations capital, famous for its “Dilli ki Chaat”, “Sarojini Nagar”, “Lotus Temple” is now famous for a very substandard thing which is that” Delhi is smoking”. By smoking here it refers to the poor air quality that Delhi has gained in the past years. It has surpassed all the expectations and now has not only become a threat to the nation but also the the world.

The pollution in Delhi does not only refer to air but also includes noise, water, domestic waste, industrial waste, pollutants from vehicle, solid waste, hospital waste, etc.

Population in Delhi is growing rapidly which affects the pollution in a drastic way. Also the industries which contribute to the pollution are growing, studies show that only 20% of the industries are on the industrial units whereas the remaining are built on commercial or industrial areas. It is also said that vehicles on the road of Delhi are more than that o 3 metropolitan cities Mumbai, Kolkata and chennai. Another reason is the cutting of crops and then burning of land by the neighboring territories.

The Air Quality Index of Delhi is 121 which is described as poor and is unhealthy for sensitive groups. In 2014, Delhi reached PM 2.5 pollution levels, which is the highest in the world.

To curb the pollution level in delhi certain measures are being taken by the government which include banning of vehicles plying on road which are more than 15 years old and run on conventional fuels like CNG, diesel, etc. Positioning dustbins around each and every corner of the city is being done and the waste is being transformed to compost. The government has also banned the use of plastic bag .

It is the duty of every citizen to follow the rules that are laid by the government in order to make Delhi a clean and green place. At last i want to say that charity begins at home if every citizen will take a step towards the betterment then the result will always be in our favor.

Am i safe??

“I just want to sleep. A coma would be nice. Or amnesia. Anything, just to get rid of this, these thoughts, whispers in my mind. Did he rape my head, too?”

― Laurie Halse Anderson

I am SHOCKED, SPEECHLESS, ASTOUNDED, THUNDERS-TRUCKED, by the way things are going in INDIA. It makes me question my safety, Dr Priyanka Reddy, a veterinary doctor from Shamshabad in Hyderabad was found dead with her body partially burnt under Chatanpalli bridge in Shadnagar on Thursday morning. She was brutally raped by four men and then burnt.

How could the four men rape her and then with no feeling burn her? Didn’t her screams shiver them to their bones when they raped her, didn’t they feel how this obnoxious incident could happen to their sisters and mothers? the answer is no.

Not only she was raped, but several girls are a victim to this crime, it is not necessary to take the form of rape but also sexual harassment at offices, public places, etc. Some men have considered themselves lordly and believe in the patriarchal form of society where they can do whatever they wish to do and they wont be punished.

They raped her and suffocated her to an extent of death and then burnt her.

According to a well known newspaper, India Today, 92 women in India are raped everyday and according to Times of India only in 1 out of 4 rape case the victim is convicted. HOW SHAMEFUL IS IT!!

She healed the animals who gave love in return, but it was the humans who could not be healed!! I want protection for all the women who work late, for all who party late as well so that the women at large feel safe.

PLEASE SPREAD AWARENESS FOR THE SAME.
